Mandali Immersion - The Season of Change: Autumn Retreat – October 15 – 21, 2023
The Mandali Immersion is our new seasonal signature in-house retreat programme for those who are seeking a profound, transformative dive into their inner world. Inspired by the autumn season, the teachings this week are focused on embracing life's transitions and transformations, the ever-changing, flowing, cyclical movement of nature and our body, spirit, and mind. We will use meditation and teachings to explore our relationship to impermanence to deeply reflect on our essential nature. Practices include breath-work and Pranayama, Qi Gong and Yin Yoga to stimulate the energy in the lungs, which are the organs associated with autumn, and to let go of what doesn’t serve us.
The Mandali Immersion is tailored for those who already have experience with being on a retreat, or if you feel you are ready for a deepening of your spiritual practice. Because of its immersive nature, a portion of this retreat is in silence, and it is suggested you attend all program sessions, including the Sharing Circle at the end. To ensure an intimate retreat experience the number of participants is limited to 35.
Expertly designed by our teachers, this programme offers a combination of:
- Daily guided pranayama and meditations
- Daily Yin Yoga and Qi-Gong
- Daily breathwork sessions
- Teachings about, and time for reflection on, impermanence
- Four days of silence
- Guided nature walk
- Access to a beautiful nourishing Body Care Center (pool, jacuzzi, sauna, steam bath)
- Delicious vegetarian meals
The Mandali Immersion will be guided by experienced Mandali teachers:
Marije Paternotte will offer daily sessions of Pranayama (traditional yogic breathing), silent meditation and Yin Yoga.
Steve Cope will offer daily guided meditations and teachings on impermanence.
Mario Santoni will offer daily daily breathwork and Qi-Gong sessions.
The first day of the Mandali Immersion starts at 5 PM. You are welcome to arrive earlier. Check-in time is at 2 PM. We try our best to provide a check-in as early as possible. Please look at our FAQ pages for more practical information about your stay.
